Mrs. Francis M. Brown
Mrs. Marguerite Brown, 24 N. Second St., Greenville, died at 6:15 a.m. today (6-6-1988) in Gilmore's White-Cliff Nursing Home, Hempfield Township, after an extended illness. She was 89.
Mrs. Brown was born in Crown, Clarion County, Pa., July 24,1898 to Michael and Ellen Warren Geary.
She was a member of St. Michael's Church, Greenville.
Her husband, Francis M. Brown, whom she married May 29, 1917, died May 13, 1985.
Surviving are three sons, Francis W. Brown, former district justice, James T. and Dennis G. Brown, all of Greenville; three daughters, Mrs. James (Mary Florence) Sanders and Mrs. Charles (Betty) Seiver, both of Greenville, and mrs. James (Mary Ann) Lafferty, Columbus, Ohio; 24 grandchildren; and 30 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, William, on April 24,1985; five other children in infancy; two sisters, Helene Junkin and Anna Mae Geary; and seven brothers, Cornelius, Francis W., Harry, George, William, Leo, and Florence.
