Mrs. Amelia Giebner
Mrs. Amelia Giebner, age 78 years, died at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Archie Barnes of Mercer ___
on Sunday afternoon at 1 o'clock after a prolonged illness resulting from heart trouble and the infirmities of age. Mrs. Giebner was the widow of Charles William Giebner, a veteran of the Civil war, whose death occurred shorty after the war closed. She had been a resident of Sandy Lake for many years and was one of the best known and loved women of the community. She was a member of the Methodist Church and a consistent christian in her daily life, whose kindly ministrations among her friends and neighbors won for her the gratitude and highest respect of all. She is survivied by one son, John E. Giebner of Seattle, Wash. and one daughter, Mrs. E. V. Thompson of Sharon.
The funeral service was held at the MEthodist Church, Wednesday morning at 10:30 o'clock and was conducted by her pastor, Rev. W. K. Crosby. Interment was made in Oak Hill Cemetery, - Sandy Lake
