L.C. PATTERSON DIES IN WASHINGTON, D.C.
Former Local Flour Miller Owner Passes Away After a Lingering Illness. Will Be Buried Here.
S.C. Patterson, a former well known citizen of this place, died at his home in Washington D.C. after a lingering illness. About 8 years ago, Mr. Patterson owned a flour mill here and conducted this business for a number of years and later he moved his family to Lockport, N.Y., and later moved to Washington where he conducted a store. Many people here were acquainted with the deceased and were shocked to hear of his death.
The deceased is survived by a widow and five children. They are Martin and Edward of Sharon, Norman of Youngstown, Frank of Washington D.C. , and Mrs. C.C. Tidd of Mineral Ridge, Ohio.
The body will be brought here tomorrow for burial. Services will be held in the Methodist church.
Interment will be made in West Middlesex cemetery.
