RECENT DEATHS: Mrs Nancy E. Bowser.
Mrs. Nancy E. Bowser died Tuesday of last week at the home of her daughter. Mrs. David A. Moore of New Castle. Death resulted from an attack of heart disease. She retired Monday evening in her usual health. About midnight she became ill and died in a few hours. Mrs Bowser was a native of Mercer county. She was a daughter of the late Jas. Brandon and was born near Grove City seventy-seven years ago. In 1849 she married the late Dr. W. A. Bowser, who died in 1861. She was the mother of the late Herber B. Bowser and for a number of years lived in Mercer. A few years ago she moved to New Castle and has since made her home with Mrs. Moore. She was the mothr of four children, two of whom, Mrs. Moore and Mrs. Wm. English, both of New Castle, survive. One sister, Mrs. Rose of Lincoln, Neb., is also living. She is a faithful member of the Presbyterian church and a woman of fine character, loved and respected by all who knew her. The funeral services were held Thursday afteroon at the Moore residence.
