Mrs. Agnes Brown, aged 80, widow of Andrew Brown of West Salem Twp., died Saturday morning at the home of Mrs. Elizabeth Moats, Greene Twp., where she had made her home since June 15. Mrs. Brown was a daughter of the late Rev. Jacob Morris of West Salem Twp., and was born in Beaver Co., PA Dec. 4 1847.
She was united in marriage to Andrew Brown, and to them were born three children, Alpha of Cleveland, Clyde A. of Greenville, and one daughter who died in infancy. She is survived by her sons, one sister, Mrs. Sarah Bowers of Youngstown, and two grandchildren, Margaret and Howard Brown of Greenville. One sister, Mrs. Ellen Koonce, and two half-sisters, Katherine Speir and Arvilla Brown, are deceased.
The body was taken to the home of her son, Clyde Brown, Greenville, where funeral services were held Monday at 2 p.m., the Rev. H. W. Funk, pastor of the First Baptist Church officiating. Burial was in the West Salem Baptist Cemetery at Maysville.
