Enterline, Leeta Mae

Sharon Herald - 23 July 1985 - Jamestown: Leeta Mae Enterline, 87, died Monday in St Paul Homes, West Salem Township, where she was a patient 10 days. Born in Greene Township 2 October 1897, to Sidney and Mary Plant Bates, she was a graduate of Kent State University and taught in area schools for a number of years. A member of Jamestown United Methodist Church, she had been active in church organizations. Her husband, Verne Enterline, whom she married 16 November 1922, died 18 September 1957. Surviving are a daughter, Mary (Mrs. Clifford Green) - Caledon, East Ontario Canada; 2 sons, Ernest and Niles, both of Jamestown; 11 grandchildren and 15 greatgrandchildren. A sister, Gertrude Bates Price, preceded her in death. Services will be held Thursday in James Baird Funeral Home with Rev Russell Babcock officiating, burial in Park Lawn.
