Hannold, Andrew Jackson

Andrew Jackson Hannold, 74, well known former resident of the Jamestown and West Salem community, died 10 p.m. yesterday in the Mercer Hospital, following a previous illness. Mr. Hannold was born in Clarion Co., July 4, 1859. He resided near Jamestown for some 20 years, prior to moving to West Salem Township. He was held in high regard by all who knew him and his death is widely mourned. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Alice Hannold; two sons; John L. of S. Shenango Township, Crawford Co. and Blake E. of Gustavus, Ohio; five daughters, Mrs. Florence York of Gustavus, Ohio; Mrs. Sarah Cook, West Salem Township; Mrs. Bell Reichard, Orangeville; Mrs. Louise Stainbrook, Latrobe and Mrs. Cora Reichard, Akron. Funeral services will be held at the Baird Funeral Home, Greenville at 2 p.m. Wednesday, with interment in Rocky Ridge Cemetery.
