Harmon Lininger, aged 86, Civil War veteran and all his life a resident of Mercer County, died at his home, one mile west of Maysville, West Salem Township, at 8 a.m. today.
He was born in West Salem Township on September 28, 1844. He enlisted in 1864 with Company F, 199th Regiment, PVI, and served to the end of the war.
He was married 62 years ago to Anna Elizabeth Brown, who died in 1929. Mr. Lininger was a member of Maysville Baptist Church and G.A. R.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. F. W. Baugh, at home; two brothers, Herbert of West Salem Twp., and Evi of Conneautville, and a sister, Mrs. D. A. Titzel, of Greenville. One grandchild, and one great grandchild also survival.
After services at home on Thursday at 1 p.m., burial will be in the Baptist Cemetery.
