Wilmer W. Hetrick, Jackson Township, Jackson Center RD 1, died at 5:15 p.m. Sunday (1-25-81) in Overlook Medical Clinic, New Wilmington, after a lengthy illness. He was 78.
Mr. Hetrick was born May 18, 1902, in Jefferson County, to the late WIlliam and Mary Ellen Buck Hetrick.
He made his home in Jackson Township since 1949, coming from Pittsburgh.
A carpenter by trade, he last was employed by Montgomery Construction Co., Grove City. He was retired 13 years.
Surviving are his wife, the former Sue Drew, whom he married Sept. 10, 1944: three daughters, Mrs. Paul (Shirley) Clark, Chicora: Mrs. Edward (Olive) DiNino, Evans City RD 1, and Mrs. Cyrus (Margaret) McConnell, Sharpsville: five stepsons, James McCullough, Conway, Pa.: Russell and Theodore McCullough, both of Iselim, Pa.: John McCullough, Summerville, and Gene McCullough in New Mexico: three stepdaughters, Mrs. Elmer (Marmie) Reihms, Iselim: Mrs. Robert (Clymenta) Feringer, Baden, and Mrs. Clarence (Vivian) Faser, Blairsville: a sister, Mrs. Viola Holp, Brockway: seven grandchildren, 30 step-grandchildren, and 15 step-great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, Howard E., six brothers and two sisters.
Burial in Zion Cemetery, Worth Township, Mercer Co., PA
