Mrs. Sarah Ellen Perrine, aged 82, one of the oldest residents in Henderson, Worth Township, died yesterday at 7:15 p.m. after a lingering illness.
She was born in Sandy Lake Township on November 19, 1849, the daughter of the late William and Charlotta Ralphs Frost.
She was married to Job Perrine on September 13, 1871 and had lived her entire life in Sandy Lake and Worth Townships. Her husband died in 1918 and a daughter in 1926. She was a member of Stoneboro Church of God.
Surviving are three sons, William J. Perrine of Wilkinsburg, Howard E. Perrine of Perrine's Corners and Frank L. Perrine at home. and three daughters, Mrs. Nellie Scott of Rocky Grove, Mrs. Lottie Gibson of Grove City and Mrs. Hattie Henderson of Henderson. Twenty grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren also survive.
Funeral services will be held at Zion Church on Wednesday at 2 p.m. with Rev. A. D. Sero in charge. Burial will be made in Zion Cemetery.
