Mrs. Mary Borthwick Perrine, 81, of Sandy Lake, died Wednesday in her home of the infirmities of age.
She was born in Wampum on May 25, 1864, the daughter of Helim and Sarepta Thompson Borthwick. She was married to J. M. Perrine on April 2, 1886 and he died on Dec. 29, 1939. The couple operated a farm at Perrine's Corners before moving to Sandy Lake. Mrs. Perrine was a member of the Zion Wesleyan Methodist church.
Surviving are the following children: Mrs. Gladys Mitchell and Chauncey M. Perrine, Sandy Lake; Mrs. Althea Amon and Budd Perrine, Franklin, and Glenn B. Perrine, Detroit. Brothers and sister surviving are: William Borthwick, Sharpsville; Mrs. Nettie Perrine, Mrs. Margaret Heilig and Mrs. Dora Vogel, Cleveland; Mrs. Della Templeton, Brooklyn, and Mrs. L. E. Lytle, Jackson Center. Fifteen grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren also survive.
