The body of Steve Jelesky, 2 Broadway, Farrell, who died at 1;40 pm Monday in the Veterans Hospital, Hot Springs, S.D., will be returned to Farrell for burial.
Mr. Jelesky, who enlisted in the military service in 1921 and later re-enlisted in 1942 during World War II, had been a patient at the Veterans Hospital for the last eight years. Death was caused by a heart condition. He was 49.
He was born in Gallatin, Pa., on Aug. 12, 1906, a son of Mrs. Anna Horvath and the late Andrew Jelesky. He formerly worked at the General American Transportation Corp.
Besides his mother, he is survived by four sisters, Mrs. Eleanor Young, Poughkeepsie, NY; Agnes, wife of Albert Schoessow, also of Poughkeepsie; Barbara, at home, and Anne, wife of Frank Ressler, Sharon; four brothers, Lawrence, of RD Hubbard, O., Frank of Warren, Pa; Walter of RD 1, West Middlesex, and Sylvester, Ypsilanti, Mich.
Interment at Hillcrest Memorial Park.
