Mrs. Marie Polkabla, 704 Moore Ave., Campbell, Ohio, formerly of Stoneboro, died at 9:27 am Thursday in Jameson Memorial Hospital, New Castle. She was 73.
The daughter of John and Marie Cebula Varmega, she was born Aug 27, 1890, in Vanderbilt, Pa.
She had lived in Campbell for three years.
Mrs. Polkabla was a member of St. Nicholas Church of the Byzatine Rite, Youngstown, and the Infant Jesus of Prague Guild.
Her husband, George Polkabla, died in 1952.
Surviving are five sons, Joseph and Michael, both of Campbell; George, Parma, Ohio; Steve, Jackson Center; and Andrew, Greenville; two daughters, Mrs. Julia Sauer, Stoneboro, and Mrs. Margaret Gillilans, New Wilmington; three brothers, Michael, Youngstown; and Joseph and John, both of Czechoslovakia and 25 grandchildren.
