Mrs. F. B. Pauly, aged forty-three years widow of the late F. B. Pauly, died of consumption at her residence on Main street on Wednesday afternoon at 3'oclock. Mr. Pauly came to his place in 1872, and engaged in the grocery business until his death, which occurred April 29, 1885, at Rugby, Tenn., where he had gone for his health. Mrs. Pauly had been ill for the past two years, and for about a year had been unable to leave her bed. Her death was apparently a painless one. She was a lifelong member of the Methodist church, and earnest Christian, and beloved by all who know her. Six children, four boys and two girls, are left to mourn the loss of a fond mother. The funeral took place yesterday at 1 p.m., the services being held in the Methodist Church. rev. Paden, of Clarksville, a member of whose church she formerly was preached the funeral sermon. A large concourse of sorrowing friends followed the remains to Riverside Cemetery, where she was interred. The bereaved children have the sympathy of the entire community in their sorrow.
