Thomas Davis, 46, highly respect Wheatland resident, died at 1:10 p.m., Thursday, at home of his brother, William Davis, Main street, Wheatland. Death resulted from complications which developed after a heart attack six weeks ago.
Mr. Davis was born in Wales, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Davis, but came to his country with his parents when one year old. He was a resident of the Wheatland community for 45 years and was held in high regard by a host of friends.
He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Pearl Davis of Sharon; his father, Harry Davis; one sister, Mrs. Fred Grummel, and one brother, William H. Davis, all of Wheatland.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday from the home of his sister, Mmrs. Fred Grummel, Ohio street, Wheatland. Rev. Edgar Doverspike will officiate and burial will be in Morefield Cemetery.
