James L."Jim" Barney, formerly of 12 Washington St,Greenville,died this morning 1/28/1988 in St.Paul Homes,West salem Township where he had been a resident.He was 62.
Mr Barney was born in Wheeler Ind.July 10,1925 to Charles and Rose Taylor Barney. He had been a self employed truck driver and of the Protestant faith. A World War 11 Veteran he sreved in the Army.
Surviving are a son Dale Barney,Franklin,two daughters Betty Myers and Mrs Randy(Ruth)Wagner both Greenville,two sisters,Mrs Bill(Mary)Tucker and Mrs Ted(Evelyn)Pfeifer,both Charleston,Ind. and four grandchildren. Two brothers and three sisters preceded him in death.
